Random Blog: some new found favorite things :)

I'm a woman...and what woman doesn't love cosmetics?  I've been a little down on my looks here lately from being pregnant and it sucks :( I haven't been doing anything with my hair (which needs about 4 inches of dead, dry, split hairs cut off), and i rarely wear any makeup anymore. I have been wanting so badly to update my look, I'm way overdue for a makeover!! I'll be glad when February gets here...then all this will be done. I look a whole lot better this pregnancy then my last two but I've been more miserable during this one. My husband has been very generous with the complements and even though I think I look like a beached whale, it's still really nice to hear. He has been very sweet lately and has bought me a few new makeup items. Julian isn't a typical guy that could care less, he actually likes to pick things out for me :) which is nice because it shows that he cares enough to think about what I would look like in things (makeup, clothing, whatnot).  He has great taste too!! I'm a girl who loves cheap finds as well which makes shopping for me easy!! Walgreens is pretty awesome with sales on cosmetics :) anyways, here are some new favorites that my lovey hubby bought for me:

All cheap finds!!! The gift set was only $5 and the rest was under $5 each!!! I love my new make up :) And yes I am a pink fiend :) Although I have been wanting to try red or atleast a color in the red family. I found one beautiful red/wine colored organic lipstick at the health food store that I absolutely want to try but its $12...maybe I will get a color swatch or play with the tester stick to make sure its worth the splurge. I also found a pretty sheer red gloss as well. I can't wait to start feeling good again!! I get so inspired and motivated some days then it just wanes away :(  I'm gonna get it back though. Its just going to take time...it takes 9 months to get big so its going to take longer to get where I want to be. This is going to be an interesting journey. I hope I can update again about new favorites :) Hope everyone has a blessed day and in case I don't blog again for a little while...Merry Christmas :)

Over The Weekend...

Well what can I say....we had a great weekend! Only thing missing was my two beautiful kids. We had a trip planned for almost a year and a room at a resort lodge booked but somehow that got messed up but we made the best of it. My wonderful husband took friday off to be with me. We spent the day together and did a little bit of Christmas shopping and had pizza for dinner.

Saturday was our 1 year wedding anniversary :) we did more Christmas shopping and just enjoyed being together with no interruptions. I do love being married to this man!! He treats me amazingly and loves me unconditionally...he's my best friend! And most importantly he respects me and loves my kids just as much as he loves the baby we are soon to have. He treated me to lunch at a nice restaurant and was beyond loving! We are so blessed!! We also bought our first Christmas tree..a real tree :) its small but its perfect. So later that night we set up our tree and decorated it and watched the cat freak out over it :) it was awesome! Its the start of a new tradition for our little family!

Sunday was our relaxing day...we didn't do much. We did get a baby bed :) a very nice family I know was kind enough to give us one. God has been very generous to us and we are so grateful and thankful.

All-in-all the weekend wasn't very eventful. We just stayed close together and cuddled and laughed alot. It was wonderful just having him all to myself :) We had a great time just enjoying everyday life. I don't need fancy gifts or anything to celebrate with...all I need are the ones I love.

I didn't get diamonds or flowers for our anniversary like what most women want...I got something much better!! I got time with my true love and a new tradition for our family :) What could be better than having a beautiful Christmas tree as an anniversary gift? I think its perfect! And you it takes two to set it up and decorate it so it makes wonderful anniversary/family/Christmas memories :)

Awake...

Good Morning!!! I'm awake for the moment...

Today is our 1 year wedding anniversary!!! It feels like so much longer, in a good way of course. We had planned on napping then getting up super early to finish our Christmas shopping at walmart. Neither of us like big crowds so its easier to go way early or way late. Julian is crashed on the couch and I'm on the love seat, suffering from bad heartburn :(  Ahhh..the joys of pregnancy right?  Here's a few things I'm not going to miss:

• heartburn...especially late at night.
• muscle pains in my sides, lower abdomen, and pelvic region
• sciatic nerve spasms
• back pain
• light headedness, dizziness
• rapid heart beat, anxiety...i have tachycardia and anxiety and pregnancy has made them worse
• the feeling that all the air just got sucked out of the room, followed by the middle of my back to my neck tensing up then my rapid heart beat and my legs feeling heavy and my ankles swelling and wanting to pass out...oh wait..thats a pregnant panic attack
• waddling..painfully lol
• feeling like I'm going to fall over cuz of my big belly
• as much as I love this lil baby...im generally not going to miss being pregnant!

Yesterday as we was shopping ( this happened at 2 stores) people kept asking the normal question "when are you due?" but I got alot of "I bet you're ready to pop" and "are you trying to get things started?".  Apparently I am so big that people think I'm going to go into labor at any time lol. Even my father in law said I look like I'm about to bust.  I'm not really that much overweight for my height and this pregnancy is all belly, and what a heavy belly it is! Anyways thats whats going on so far :) It's 6:25am at the moment and I have been up since around 3:30am so I may try to squeeze in a nap before we have to get up and meet a few people...may update later.

*Good Morning*....i guess

Well today hasn't started to great.  I had nightmares all night. Even though Julian reassured me that everything was and will be ok I couldn't shake the feeling. That was around 5am...it is now 8am and I still feel it. Oh how I wish I had some coffee, and a better internet connection!! I never liked coffee much before except those Starbucks Frappuccino's and BK's iced coffee..but recently Julian has been getting me coffee from McD's and we have been going out for breakfast on the weekends. Its been a nice change, but i know it won't last because the baby will be here in February and there will be no time or extra money to do that. So I am enjoying it while I can.

My sweet, wonderful husband is having an awful week at work :( I feel terrible for him.  Most people hate their jobs, but you have to stick with them with the way the economy is.  I appreciate him going to work everyday, even when he is sick or in pain.  He's an amazing man and he puts his family before himself.  He is my everything!! I don't know what I would do without him. There isn't enough words in the world to tell him how much i love him!!

I can't wait til tomorrow!! Julian put in for a vacation day :) Our anniversary is Saturday. Nothing big planned, just spending the weekend together..hopefully with no interruptions :) It's hard to believe that we have only been married 1 year! It feels like forever,but in a good way. I am blessed beyond belief!!!

• I don’t go to bars or clubs…I’m married, I prefer to have drunken sex with MY HUSBAND at home lol. The only reason I would ever go to a bar or club is IF my husband was playing there for some reason (he’s a guitarist).
• If I was to drink it would be tequila shots, smirnoff ice, baileys iced coffee, midori margarita…almost anything with a citrus flavor.
• I like my steak marinated and cooked in beer..(thanks baby)
• I love eyeliner and lipgloss.
• I love lingerie and thigh high stockings
• I hate…liars, cheaters, drama starters, rumor spreaders,  bitches, people who think they are better than others ( you may be better off in some way but that doesn’t make you perfect), immaturity and stupidity, married people or people in relationships who still flirt with the opposite sex, there’s alot more but i won’t go into it 

So now you know a little about me….I’m not here to conquer the world, just here to make it a better place.

10 things I love about being married...

1. I love being an actual family with my husband....not to mention expanding our family ;)
2. Having his last name....I love it!!!
3. Wearing my wedding ring....it has never came off and never will!!
4. Knowing that we are united thru and by God....and what could be better than that!!!
5. Having someone who is always there for me no matter how busy he may be.
6. Hearing him say "my  wife"....not to mention when he comes home and tells me how he bragged about me at work :)
7. The commitment we share....and yes its mutual and not a have-to. I love having a dedicated husband and its easy to be his dedicated wife.
8. Making every decision together....once you are married your decisions have even more of an affect on each other.
9. How much our friendship/relationship has grown....its alot stronger, steadier, fuller than it was when we was just dating and together.
10. Knowing that he is all mine :)....we married for better and for worse and we both take our vows seriously..to sin against each other is to sin against God.

I honestly love being married to Julian! Its so much better than being his girlfriend because its more secure and committed. I know that he wants to be married to me just as much as I do him :) One thing I am grateful for is our friendship! I love laughing and smiling with him and our adventures thru life. This man has changed my life in so many ways and brought me back to God. I hope that everyone can have a relationship like ours...not that we don't have our arguments because we do, but we always end up laughing at the end. Its all in how you communicate. Needless to say I love my marriage!! and I pray that everyone has a blessed, loving marriage :)

Whats been up....

Wow it has been forever since i have blogged and it actually makes me sad. I find myself jealous reading updated blogs lol. Most people dont know this but i live rather primitively..as in no cable, no internet at my home..other than the not so great internet on my cheapo phone. Im hoping some day to change that tho...atleast the internet part. So whats been up since my first post forever ago:

1. i celebrated my 29th birthday!!! And these are the first flowers that my love has ever bought for me :) talk about a surprise, he walked thru the door and i was kinda speechless lol

2. we celebrated out first Thanksgiving together :) yay!!

3. we entered the 3rd trimester of pregnancy with our new lil girl...name undetermined.

As i read this it seems as if nothing has really been going on lol but alot actually has. I was put in the hospital for a few hours on 11/27 for dehydration :( i have two bruises to remember that day, one from the iv that was in my left hand and one on my right forearm from an attempt for an iv...the nurse busted my vein. The bruise was kinda in the shape of a bunny for a lil while which was kinda cool with Bunny being my nickname and one of my favorite things in the world.

With all that being said, Im happy, but physically miserable :/ my youngest child just turned 5 on 11/20 so that shows how long its been since i have been pregnant. The doctor, who is great, told me to expect this one to be different and possibly a lil more uncomfortable due to my age and the time between this and last pregnancy. My son is 7 and my daughter is 5 and with both pregnancies i was overweight. I was right at 200lbs at delivery with both :( depression caused alot of that.  I started my first pregnancy with weight around 120-130 and never lost the post pregnancy weight til last year and early this year. I went from around 187 to 140!!! Thank God I did before I got pregnant :) I actually have a baby bump this time instead of looking like a blimp (no exaggeration)

My husband says he loves the way i look being pregnant and well he shows it too!! I love the things he says and does to make me feel good about myself thru this. But most of all I love it when he rubs my belly and talks to the baby, its so sweet and loving!! This is my husbands first baby, although he is a wonderful amazing father/dad to my 2 children, who absolutely adore him, this seals the deal for him on being a dad! A new experience since he has never went thru a pregnancy, delivery or raising a baby. We are both excited and its almost a new experience for the both of us. Its an amazing blessing to our family!!! My son now sees having 2 lil sisters as even more of a reason to beat guys up when he gets older :) I have a feeling that my girls will be standing up for themselves too...I may update more later...until then have a blessed day :)
